Vincent Chew

Chief Executive Officer

Vincent is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, and CPA with the Khmer Institute of Certified Public Accountants & Auditors (KICPAA). He was the previous Head of BDO Capital Consultants Malaysia, and Asia Pacific head of corporate finance and the Previous Head of Corporate Finance for Schroders Malaysia and Perdana Merchant Bankers, Malaysia. He is presently serving as director and of a property development listed on Bursa Malaysia.


Mejon has more than 20 years of investment banking experience from several major banks in Malaysia. He started off with CIMB Investment Bank where he spent 2 years in the Corporate Finance division and another 4 years in the Equity Capital Markets (“ECM”) division. Previously, the Head of ECM for AmInvestment Bank, Maybank Investment Bank, RHB Investment Bank and Former Director of MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad. He has been involved in numerous IPOs and RTOs, and other debts and equity fund raising activities. Amongst of this include aquaculture IPOs for Xian Leng Holdings Berhad  and Borneo Aqua Harvest Berhad, IPOs for Astro, Maxis, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Tunes Insurance, IPO Sin Chew Media Corporation (only Chinese prospectus in Malaysia). He has also involved in the private equity fund raising for Asiagreen Resources Sdn Bhd raising RM25 million from EPF and Medical Devices Corporation Sdn Bhd and private debts securities for Sabah Development Bank and Sarawak Energy Berhad.


Melvin has more than 18 years of extensive experience in corporate finance and investment banking, originating and implementing both equity and debt fund-raising exercises – IPOs and private debt securities issues, mergers and acquisitions, and also valuation exercises. Melvin has advised in and structured various corporate finance and banking transactions as well as conducted feasibility evaluations for a diverse group of large corporations across various industries including property development and investment, real estate investment trust, construction, oil palm and forest plantations, industrial and consumer products, automotive and related products, telecommunications, aviation, shipping and oil & gas, and also implemented cross-border corporate exercises.

Melvin graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northeast Missouri State University (USA). Initially trained with Price Waterhouse as a American Expatriate Taxation Specialist, Melvin has since built his investment banking career with two leading Malaysian investment banks during which he held the Capital Markets Services Representative’s License.
